Sept. 14 Crystals
 In
1985 Anton bought crystals, Amethyst and Mountain Crystal. He was
intrigued by their regular form, wherever in the world they had grown. Always this
same shape. Six corners. He started with the six-sided drawing. Especially the carbon ring fascinated him. Organic matter had
this same basic shape. He made many drawings with the six-sided ring and the crystals. Later the sphinx became part of it too. See here. One of the texts:

We have been looking at the carbon ring from all sides. Two triangles, with 4 triangles between them - until we suddenly discovered, that it was the same form as two pyramids, pasted together bottom to bottom... But long before we did, Anton used the pyramid already in his work, together with the sphinx. He said: the sphinx looks out over the sand, the pyramid is both above the sand and below, upside down. On this picture he is wearing an Amethyst 'Spitz' on his forehead. He has been wearing it for a long time.
