Anton Heyboer (click on photos to life-work Poles stand in the water they are no place in the time. Living with real ships that is the great essential because it means a harbor and a home. It means a moment to be free of the fight with the water. For the shipper who is still with his mind in the eternity of the sea, it is more as the woman. When he enters on them he can make his mind free of that eternity and the first what came in his mind is the beauty of the woman. That is the second harbor of him and his ship.
The pole when you have your rope around it and tied you are out the danger of the stream from the sea. Your little fisher-ship first met the rope to be out the danger and when you have again power enough in you you go from there bring the ship to the land. The pole is an anchor standing above the water and so is the woman. So is the third woman on our ship for me. |
